So you’re ready to order your hair….

Before you order there are a few things we should let you know. Here at Made By Babe, all orders are Made to Order.

What does ‘Made to Order’ mean?

Made to Order refers to each and every item sold is only made, when ordered. This helps with ensuring we are not over-producing hair, we don't have over stock, and every order is able to receive the amount of care and attention to detail it deserves. This also means that hair will not ship out 'Next day' unless stated otherwise. All orders take about 7 - 14 days to reach California.

 

Ok, so I ordered my hair, now what?

All payments take about 2 business days to process meaning your order has not started yet! If you order on Friday your payment will be processed on Tuesday of the following week. Your order will start being processed once we have received your payment.  Orders placed using Payment plans/Pay in Installments have an additional processing time of business 1-2 days.

 

How long is the processing time?

Processing time for your order to be created is  7 business days. This does not include weekends and Nationally recognized Holidays. This also does not include shipping time. Once the hair has been received at Made By Babe HQ we begin our rigorous quality control. Should we find any problems or issues with your order, the entire order will be replaced before being sent it out to you. Please note that this means your order will need an additional 14 days. Once our hair passes inspection your package will be made and sent. You’ll receive your tracking information shortly after.

 

We ALWAYS recommend buying your hair at least a  month and a half or 45 days in advance to ensure you get it on time.

While we know and understand this is not preferable, as a small business is it something we have to do. Please buy your hair AT LEAST one MONTH before it's needed.

Example: My birthday is August 9th. My hair appointment is set for August 8th. I need to order my hair JUNE 20th.

How long is shipping?

Shipping time is as follows

• United States: 1-3 Business Days via USPS Express 2-day Mail

• Delays may occur during a sale or holiday time. Expect delays to be between 1-5 business days (Emails will be sent out to all current orders expecting a package)

   

I bought my hair but It’s not what I expected/ I want to cancel my order

Unfortunately due to the nature of the product sold at Made By Bade, All sales are final. We are do not accept or offer any returns.  

I’m international, what’s the process for my package?

We're happy to announce that we are currently rolling out international shipping. If you don't see your country on the list of available shipping locations, please send us an email at madebybabe.co@gmail.com. Made by Babe is not responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes associated with international shipping. All customers must pay for any and all duties, fees or taxes. Made by Babe is required to present how much all hair cost and cannot change that amount on the customs declaration page.

International shipping is a flat rate fee of $70.00 (Package insures is always included) . If you do not select international shipping during check out and you are outside of the united states your order will not ship until the full amount is payed.

 

My package was stolen/lost, what can I do?

Made by Babe is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. We can not replace a stolen package nor can we replace a lost package. If you will not be home during the time your package will be delivered please call your closest USPS/UPS station and ask that they hold the package until you are able to pick it up physically or contact them via the website at www.USPS.com. All packages come with a courtesy insurance attached to it matching the price of your order. 

 

I live in Los Angeles, can I get my hair in person?

At this time we do not currently allow for in-person pick-ups. We hope this is able to change as we receive more requests for in-person pick-ups.

 

Can I dye the Blonde Kinky Straight or put chemicals on it?

You may dye the Blonde Kinky Straight using ONLY straight pigment dyes. DO NOT use box dyes, bleach/ developer, or any dyes that require a developer OR ammonia. Please understand that there are no refunds from failure to read this and understand the nature of this hair. These rules apply to all Blonde/Colored Afro hair textures sold on Made by Babe
